International Society for Aeolian Research - ISAR

MEMBERSHIP

Membership shall be open to all persons and institutions interested in the study or application of aeolian processes and related subjects.

Three categories of members shall be recognized:

a. individual members – persons actively engaged in or, after retirement, retaining an active interest in aeolian research and its applications;

b. corporate members - institutions, companies, and organizations of manufacturers, dealers and users of equipment related to aeolian processes. Such corporate bodies may only have one individual member representing it in the Organization

c. honorary members - distinguished workers in aeolian processes research who have retired from active posts. Honorary members are nominated by the Board and elected by the General Assembly.

2. Membership shall be terminated by:

a. decease of a member or, in the case of a corporate member, when the corporation ceases to exist;

b. resignation by a member or corporate member;

c. notice given by the Organization.

Membership fees for individual regular members will be $75 US, $50 US for student members, and $150 US for corporate members. Membership would includes a subscription to the Elsevier Journal 'Aeolian Research' when it goes into production in 2009. However, as an introduction to this new society we are currently inviting you to become a Founding Member of ISAR. As Founding Members, your fee schedule for 2008 is reduced by $40 US. The Founding Members dues rate for 2008 is only $35 US, $10 US, and $110 US, for regular, student and corporate member, respectively. Membership fees can be paid by credit card or PayPal.
